Print Summer School, Tue-Thur 2nd August, 10-4pm
Experiment with the printing techniques of Dry-Point Etching using acetate, Lino - learning how to do a reduction cut and Collograph. Bring along exciting images or photographs that you might want to use for inspiration.
The studio is a low-toxic environment (water based inks and no solvents) with dedicated printmaking facilities for professional hands-on learning. There is a maximum of ten students per course, materials are included and we advise that you book early to avoid disappointment.
Once you have attended a print course at CFA you can book in to use the printing facilities, giving you the opportunity to further develop your printmaking skills.
All materials and resources are included in the course fee. Tea, coffee & biscuits!
The workshop will be run from 10-4pm.
Appropriate Covid measures are in place - see details on the home page.
The class will be held in the print studio of Cheltenham School of Fine Art on the first floor of Carmargue House, 32 Wellington Lane, Cheltenham GL52 2AG.
What you need to bring to the studio: Please bring your mask so you can wear it when necessary, your own bottle of water and your lunch with you or step out to the cafe in Pittville Park to grab a snack.
We also recommended that you bring your notebook / sketchbook and pencils with you.
There is free 4 hour parking around the nearby Pittville Park or NCP parking at North Place.
