Painting Drawing Weekly Class Afternoon Class Thursdays

This course will be a zoom.

The format will be an initial first hour of taught /demonstration of technique.  This will be followed by an optional work-along session and informal Q&A.

This course is suitable for complete beginners in portrait painting & drawing.

The course will act as an introduction for new students and a refresher for returning students on drawing and painting portraits covering bascic skills of:
- measuring, proportions, tone and form
- drawing the facial features
- and how to use value progression to capture the effect of the light and create three dimensional looking portraits, and
- realisation of colour theory as it pertains to the face.

Five weeks commencing Thursday 6th May, 2-4pm.
