




Craft Needle Felting Sessions - Friday 9th & 16th January '26

The sessions are on Friday afternoons 1 - 4:30pm, and are £45 each session.
These 2 sessions will introduce you to 3D needle-felting.
You will explore different techniques from simple shapes to using a wire armature to create an animal sculpture of your choice.
The workshops will help you to learn:
- wools and felting needles that are used to create dry felted sculpture.
- how to use a wire structure ( armature) to form a shape; and
- about other needle-felting techniques such as wet felting and 2D pictures( which will be explored in further workshops).
Included in price
All materials - selection of wools, needles, wire and felting pads.
Photos/diagrams will be available to use for your sculpture but you are welcome to bring your own of a chosen pet ( prints from different angles are recommended).
Suitable for all levels of experience.
All materials provided.
Tea, coffee and biscuits - the essentials for crafting - are provided.
These craft sessions are not suitable for children under 14 years.
The class will be held in the main studio of Cheltenham School of Fine Art on the first floor of Camargue House, 32 Wellington Lane, Cheltenham GL52 2AG.
There is free 4 hour parking around the nearby Pittville Park or NCP parking at North Place
