Course Outline
Introduction to the basic principles of landscape painting view point perspective.
This is a studio landscape course.
This workshop is in preparation for working outside. We'll be working in the studio mixing greens and blues, mark making for trees and skies, going through many of the skills and techniques necessary for working with landscape.
We will be using photos your own or mine.
Use of brushes, knives and tools to explore expressive mark making.
Colour mixing and matching outside "en plein aire".
An ideal course to experiment and generate lots of ideas.

The workshop will be run from 10:00-4pm.
The class will be held in the main studio of Cheltenham School of Fine Art on the first floor of Camargue House, 32 Wellington Lane, Cheltenham GL52 2AG.
Either bring a packed lunch or step out to the cafe in Pittville Park to grab a snack.
There is free 4 hour parking around the nearby Pittville Park or all day NCP parking at North Place. Short taxi ride from Cheltenham Spa train station.
