The sessions are on Friday afternoons 1 - 4:30pm, and are £45 each session.
Crochet is currently trending in fashion and the home. It is creative, mindful and so portable!
Join Judy for this 'Learn to Crochet a Basket Workshop' and learn some of the basic stitches to start you on your crochet journey.
Everyone will work at their own pace. The group is small to make sure everyone has enough attention, perfect for the complete beginner.
You do not need to bring anything, all materials are provided and you will have a starter kit to keep. You will create a basket to be proud of which will useful for all sorts of things.
The workshop will help you to learn:
- the basic stitches
- how to create a small basket from a wooden base
- the foundation of crochet techniques to give you the tools to progress
What is included in the price?
- all materials. Bring crochet hooks if you have them, otherwise you can borrow them for the workshop
- written instructions
- tea & coffee
Tea, coffee and biscuits - the essentials for crafting - are provided.
These craft sessions are not suitable for children under 14 years.
The class will be held in the main studio of Cheltenham School of Fine Art on the first floor of Camargue House, 32 Wellington Lane, Cheltenham GL52 2AG.
There is free 4 hour parking around the nearby Pittville Park or NCP parking at North Place
