“Painting is a blind man’s profession. He paints not what he sees, but what he feels, what he tells himself about what he has seen.” Pablo Picasso
Our advanced painting courses are varied to suit our mix of students and artists.
Using oils and acrylics ou will explore the freedom of creating form through colour.
We reference both historical and contemporary painting practices and artists to encourage an understanding of an individual position within the practice of painting.
The course will introduce you to a selection of artists and limited palette.
For many courses, a set project concept or project options will help guide you through the process, for the more experienced painter, independent projects will direct your process and we will support you through its development.
